For 50 years, FCC Brevard has been building a stronger, healthier Brevard through Mental Health Services for: Adolescents, Veterans, School Children, Domestic Violence Victims, Families, Substance Abusers, Offenders & Seniors.

FCC Brevard Now Hiring

Family Counseling Center of Brevard is now hiring Counseling Professionals

Duties & Responsibilities: Applicants will be responsible for rendering direct clinical services to students on site within designated grant schools as well as clinical services to students’ families within the home; providing information, referral and care coordination for related services needed by students/families to support progress on service goals; providing training and consultation to professional staff; maintaining necessary documentation regarding services delivered; participating in gathering of grant-required outcomes data; fully understanding mental health/social work practice standards; and fully understanding Agency objectives, policies and procedures.

Qualifications: Master’s Degree in social work or another mental health field from an accredited University, plus a minimum of two years of clinical experience; ability to establish and maintain relationships within and outside the Agency in a professional manner; ability to evaluate his/her own performance, capabilities, and limitations with reasonable accuracy; understanding of the obligations, functions, programs, and services of the Agency as they relate to staff, clients, community, and general social welfare; ability to communicate ideas and knowledge clearly and concisely; and sensitivity to diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
